"And he walks with me, and he talks with me, and tells me I am his own..." Three things today, two prayer requests and one happy thing. :-) First off, my grandma goes in on Thursday to get a lump in her breast removed. We don't know if it's cancerous, and we won't know until they take it out, so everyone's kind of on pins and needles. So, prayers would be fantastic. Additionally, my longtime dentist, George Smerlis, had leukemia and retired from the practice a few years back. Unbeknownst to me, he died during a transplant this December, and was supposedly in a lot of pain even though he was disease-free at the time... his body just rejected the transplant. Learning that upset me more than I would have thought it would. He was a really gentle, kind person, and it sucks that he had to die so young. So, prayers for his family would be sweet too. Finally, I'm leaving tomorrow morning and won't be back until Wednesday night, so send me lots of mail and email to make me feel loved when I come home! I take it from the silence over Diaryland and LJ that most folks are engrossed in OotP, and I would ask that spoilers be clearly marked, cause I'm not reading it til the first week in July, when I steal it from my sister. OK, that's all! Everyone have a nice Sunday! |
