"Ah! I have access!" -Data, from some ST: TNG episode from way back when
So, after having seen Star Trek: Nemesis... Data's pretty hardcore. :-) A melancholy and enjoyable movie, with our favorites from the past (including an unexpected Guinan cameo... now if only we'd gotten some Q!) and a delicious villain. I'm a bit confused, though... as I recall, Loxanna and Deanna were pretty confused and not altogether overjoyed when they found themselves garmentless among the Ferengi, leading me to believe that nudity was more prevalent among that race than among Betazoids. And yet, the wedding ceremony is done in the nude on Betazed? Will some more-informed Trekkie enlighten me? Confused as I was, Picard's comment of "In the meantime, I'm going down to the gym" was worth it. :-) Oh, Picard, you have nothing to worry about. And Worf is a "big, strapping fellow"... I love the affection between our Enterprisers. Picard seems tyrannical when you first meet him "No children are allowed on my bridge!!!" but he's such a teddy bear. And Worf came to Riker and Troi's wedding, even with their history... maybe they worked things out between them on some of the installments I missed, movies and spinoffs and such. But it was all terribly adorable, and I liked the movie a lot. :-) Yay!
