*beams* Rain, my cat, and happy femininity.
The rain has been pretty constant from yesterday to today, and I rather like it. It's a steady, warm, life-giving rain, not dreary in the least, and I had the best run of the summer last night because of it. I love rain!
Secondly, my cat finds something really really interesting in my bedspread. She's touching the base of it with her paw and trying to see what's under it. :-) She's cute.
Thirdly, there are a couple of places in the world that just feel really feminine. Like, no guy over the age of four has ever been there, and the place fairly radiates estrogen. If you've ever gotten your nails done for a special occasion and have gone into one of those little nail shops, that's one of the places. Another is the hair cut place. I'm sure there are more that I haven't been to. But at these places, women of all ages gather and make themselves pretty and chat about everything under the sun, even when they don't know each other at all, and you always come out of there feeling really calm and optimistic. It's really pretty cool. I hope you men have places like that too. :-)
