Chicken fingers and Snapple Fire! :D Yum yum yum yum yum!!! I just had the best lunch I've had in a good month! Well, aside from Pizza Stop the other day. :) It was chicken fingers and Snapple Fire (as suggested by the title), and I ate it outside on the VMC plaza in the sunny afternoon. :) Who says Ithaca has lousy weather??? I'm really happy because the morning flew by... I had class and then a transfection, and doing the latter really took a lot of concentration, so before I knew it my stomach was growling and demanding that I go get food. Facing a five hour incubation, I obliged it. But I really felt energetic, which is kind of unusual for a Thursday... I think doing science really invigorates me. Even precise, sterile work without too much creative thinking involved makes me happy. I'd be happy enough being a lab tech, I imagine, as long as I could keep learning new techniques. I'll be even happier doing real research, but I'm not picky. :) My back hurts, though. This is getting to be a real recurring problem... it's either my mattress or just the fact that I don't stretch and take care of it enough, but either way, I ought to enroll in that massage course. Free massages for me, yay! Oh, my signal transduction class is really funny. :) I wrote down all the funny Dr. Cerione quotes last night, but I don't have them with me, so y'all will have to wait til I get internet... which should be today or tomorrow... hopefully... :) I know, I was saying this a week and a half ago. :) We're just lazy. OK, kiddoes, I'm heading back to the lab to make a medium and study until Journal Club, so I hope y'all have lovely Thursdays, and I'll talk to ya again soon! love, ali I ended that like an email. That felt weird. :) |
