Why I love Auld Lang Syne, explained extraordinarily awkwardly. :)
I'm listening to a Christmas CD as I study (Mannheim Steamroller), and I got shivers on the last track, which was Auld Lang Syne. Something about that always makes me trembly... I think it's the looking back over your life and not regretting and feeling warmth toward everyone you knew and appreciating everything you experienced. Moments of understanding and perspective always give me this sad, wise, not-me sort of feeling.
