I feel very in control of my destiny this morning. Well, destiny's too far-reaching a word. I feel very in control of my immediate (like, in the next two weeks) future, and it feels fiiiiine. May not be working where I thought I'd be... may be in the fish lab, may be in the Baker Institute, but in any case, I'll probably have a lag week next week, which is just fine with me, since I've got mad tests and a presentation to put together. It'd be nice to have all that time free.
We had a lovely evening last night, consisting of cocktails before we went out, darts at the Bear Lodge and pizza on the way home, and I woke up very late this morning and am in the library, but have decided not to go to lab until after seminar because I'm LAZY and because, to some extent, I just don't care right now. :) Maybe I should get a hot chocolate (we have a cafe right here in the library) and read til seminar. I'm not sure I'd finish the drink in an hour, though. Decisions, decisions.
