Canada was absolutely beautiful. The sky was blue, the water was green ^^, the falls were amazing, the casino was opulent, the company was unbeatable and the food was delicious. Really, a fabulous trip. :D :D :D
Now I'm back at school, and an experiment went slightly awry this morning when I didn't have enough cells to do a FACS analysis after doing my injections, although I might just try anyway with less cells... we'll see. I got paid (whee!) and will do an ELISA before I leave today, and I also got pretty good at injecting mice. It's always a little stressful, cause you have to grab them by the scruff of the neck and flip them over, and I'm not really all about that, cause they squeak and struggle and try to bite you, and I'm sure they're not all about it either cause they're getting grabbed and poked with a needle, but I've gotten okay at immobilizing them so that neither of us gets seriously hurt. Yay! I wish it weren't such a pretty day, so I'd feel better about spending it in a lab. Sigh. Happy Wednesday, all!
