And I think somebody somewhere must be tolling a bell... I've noticed that when you eat as many fruits and vegetables as is recommended for ideal health, you really don't have the time or inclination to eat much else. Therefore I have, in effect, become vegetarian in my daily life... I eat meat when around other people (ie, the salmon at Cam's house this weekend), but when I'm at school, meat just kind of drops out of my diet. The striking thing is that I don't miss it. I always thought I would... that life without a good steak every now and then wouldn't be half as enjoyable... but now even light meat, just like bread, beer, pasta, and formerly yummy desserts, feels too heavy for me. I wonder if this is unhealthier or more healthy than how I lived before. People really do become strange when we make our own habits. Have to add the TMB substrate, read these plates, and then I'm out of here! I'm hoping to fix my computer tonight... I think I can do it on my own, but it'll take a while. Wish me luck! |
